At Flash we pride ourselves on delivering world-class events that Abu Dhabi is proud to host and that leave a lasting impact on the people of the city."

Heang Fine Wong, Chief Executive Officer Capitala, the title sponsor of the event, said:

"The Capitala Community Cup is one of the cornerstones for our sponsorship of this event. At Capitala, we are investing a significant amount of our time and resources towards promoting tennis at grass roots levels here in Abu Dhabi and in the UAE and in highlighting the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle to the community. Last year, the Capitala Community Cup saw more than 250 people participating in this competitive and fun tournament for a chance to take part in the 'Star Clinics' with the world's top players. Based on the initial feedback this year, we anticipate a much bigger response from the local community and are looking forward to encouraging young tennis talent from across the Emirates."

Four star player clinics will be held during the Capitala World Tennis Championship from December 31 2009 – January 2 2010 for the winners and runners-up who finished in the top rankings at their respective Capitala Community Cup qualifier tournaments. Additional spots in the clinics will be available through a raffle prize draw at each qualifying venue.

The CCC events will be played at tennis clubs across Abu Dhabi and Dubai from 7 November - 5 December. The CCC is open to all ages from 8 years through to adults, with player fields divided in to five age groups. Entry is free and must be completed by Saturday 31st October. Players can register now by picking up an entry form from local tennis clubs, or by visiting www.capitalawtc.ae.

The Capitala World Tennis Championship, launched in 2008 by Flash, Abu Dhabi's premiere event management company and Capitala, the Abu Dhabi-based strategic real estate master developer, will be held at the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex at Zayed Sports City. Now in its second year, the event aims to raise awareness of the benefits of tennis and the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle, whilst also leaving a legacy for the community beyond the tournament.
