December 2008; Abu Dhabi, UAE: The region’s businesses have been quick to embrace a different style of corporate hospitality, with packages for the Capitala World Tennis Championship selling fast.
The event, to be held at the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex at Zayed Sports City, from 1-3 January 2009, will see Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Nikolay Davydenko, Andy Roddick and James Blake competing for a winner’s cheque of a quarter of a million dollars.
VIP corporate hospitality packages include a sumptuous lunch and afternoon tea in a custom-built marquee adjacent to the stadium’s dedicated VIP entrance, as well as courtside seats right in the heart of the action. Convenient VIP parking provides easy facility access for guests.
Greg Sproule, Managing Director of IMG Middle East – the Championship’s organizer - comments: “The UAE’s corporate community has recognized that this is a very cost-effective and highly personal way to further important friendships and enjoy the company of those they want to make a sensible but direct statement to.”
“It’s the perfect setting to do that, and to kick-off the New Year showing how important they are for their business – which can include high-performance employees as well as customers. A combination of the world’s best tennis players and a 5-star hospitality experience means that the VIP package will be both elegant and productive for business.”
The Corporate Hospitality packages are Dhs 15,000 per table of 10 per day, and includes 10 VIP match tickets, 10 VIP marquee passes, 5 VIP parking passes and 10 official souvenir programmes.
