CAPITALA COMMUNITY CUP STAR CLINIC SCHEDULE
All Capitala Community Cup Clinics will take place on 1st January 2010. Please register at the Information Desk by the Practice Courts 30 minutes before your clinic is due to start.
Under 10s and Under 12s: 11am-12pm
Under 14s: 11am-12pm
Under 16s: 12pm-1pm
Adults Mixed: 12pm-1pm
Tennis players from all skill levels are encouraged to participate. The event will be played in a round-robin format allowing each participant to play at least 3 matches. Winners of each pool will play off for a semi-final berth.
All matches will be played first to 5 games all age groups, except for 8-10’s who will play first to 3 games.
For age groups 8-10’s and under 12’s girls and boys play in the same draw. In age group under 14s and under 16s boys and girls play in separate draws. Adults play mixed doubles.
The Capitala Community Cup aims to develop interest in the game of tennis in the UAE with a particular emphasis on the youth. This is a community event that encourages tennis enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy friendly competition, have fun and get a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the world's top tennis stars, as well as introduce competition to players who are interested in getting more involved.
Age groups from eight through to adults will play in a competitive tournament environment at seven venues across the UAE with finalists and other selected participants going forward to take part in
Star Clinics at the Capitala World Tennis Championship at the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex at Zayed Sports City.
